Below are four (4 ) questions and a bonus question. You have to answer them instantly. You can’t take your time, answer all of them immediately . OK?

First Question:
You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

 


 

Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are
absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!

Try not to screw up next time.
Now answer the second question,
but don’t take as much time as you took for the first question, OK ?

Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are……?

 

 

Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?

Third Question:
Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only .
Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

 

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30 .
Add another 1000. Now add 20 . Now add another 1000
Now add 10. What is the total?

Answer: Did you get 5000?

The correct answer is actually 4100.
If you don’t believe it, check it with a calculator!
Today is definitely not your day, is it?
Maybe you’ll get the last question right…

Fourth Question:

 

Mary’s father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono. What is the name of the fifth daughter?

 

Answer:Did you Answer Nunu?
NO! Of course it isn’t.
Her name is Mary. < B> Read the question again!

A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants?

 

 

Answer: He just has to open his mouth and ask.

      The third answer was the only one I got right. It’s absolutely right. If you don’t believe her just pull out a calculator and check, genius.

      Its not about he believes or not …………Dude How you suppose to get 5000
      by adding 1000 4 times and 40+30+20+10 ?? Basic mathematics
      4000+100 = 4100

      BTW I got 4 questions right……….I messed up with second question and overtook the last person in race LOL

    Sara,
    Your third and fourth answers are wrong. Even if you take 1000 out of the total of 5000 on the third question, you will still be left with only 4000 and not 4100. On the fourth question the next vowel after o is u so the name of the last daughter must remain Nunu. But if you still feel strongly about your answer kindly avail us with formular you use to arrive at Merry. Thankpology

      2nd) I didn’t get it.

      3rd)
      1000+40=1040
      1000+30=1030
      1000+20=1020
      1000+10=1010

      1040+1030+1020+1010=4100

      4) Mary’s father is also the father of Nana, Nene, NiNi, NoNo and he has 5 daughters.

    second answer : depends on the race.
    1 – if it’s in a linear fashion then you cannot overtake the last person
    2 – if it’s a circular race you are already the first or anyone who was one more lap ahead of the last person :P

      But in circular race you could not guess the answer right…………Because you cant decide which position you are in while you overtake the last person …its need other factors as , how many people already leading by a lap to the last person

    if one person says in his/her comment “nice” every other user will say right no one read it & answer it properly. As per my understanding first two questions are wrong, in race if you are cross last person then you will be number 01 otherwise how second crossing of 2nd person means what it can be from begining, middle or end of race. Think & reply
