Fishing in Saudi Arabia – Funny Story

Rafiq took his wife on a fishing trip in Jeddah beach.

They purchased all the fishing equipment: the reels, fishing rods, the wading suits, the rowboat, the car, and even a portable tent. They spend a lot of money.

The first day they went for fishing, but in-spite of spending 5hrs they don’t catch anything. The same thing happens on the second day, and on the third day. It goes on like this until finally, on the last day of their vacation, Rafiq catches a fish.

As they’re driving home, and are really depressed.

Rafiq turns to his wife and says, “Do you realize that this one clumsy fish we caught cost us 1000 Riyals?”

His wife says, “Wow! It’s a good thing we didnt catch any more!”

The Riyal is a Saudi Arabian currency which is equivalent
to approximately one U.S. Dollar. If you go to Mecca on
piligrimage you need to change your own currency into
Riyals, But, if you have a hard currency such as the US$
or the European Euros, you can change them anywhere.

I am wondering How did they managed to catch one fish, while there is no “BAIT” mentioned in their fishing equipment….?
