True Moral Story From UAE !!

I have a very bad experience with these door to door sales. Once a salesman came to my house and dropped a card with serial number. He told my daughter to keep this card near our telephone equipment; it could be the winner of AED 5000.

Two or three days later, they called and said: “Congratulations, you won the prize, when do you want us to come and bring it to your house?”

My wife gave them a date and time to come and informed me to be at home. They came to my house and spread their vacuum cleaner and started to tell strange things about dust and micro-bates living with us and that vacuum cleaner is capable of absorbing them all. They showed me a photo of one micro-bate (magnified x million times) with frightening claws and suckers etc. When I asked them how much is this cleaner, they said: will tell you later and started cleaning the mats using bright white tissue paper to empty the dust on and show me how dirt and dust will not be seen by normal eyes….etc etc.

Then they made me unconsciously sign on a paper planning installment payments etc etc. I told them I don’t want this cleaner it is too expensive, but they left it behind and went away. I followed them but they disappeared. I went to their company office as mentioned on the papers and left the cleaner there and told them I do not want it. I cannot afford this much cost. They told me they will check with their head office in Sharjah and inform me later.

Later they sent me a case notification stating that I bought the cleaner and refused to pay. They assigned a lawyer and cheated me and the court and issued an adjourn against me and force me to pay by law.

Their lawyer’s name is Mahmoud (same as me) they put his mobile number against my name. When the court calls me, they call his number asking him: Mr. Mahmoud? he says: yes. they told him you have a case in the court and should come on this date. He agrees to come. (the court thinks I am responding). he goes and I am absent for three times, then the court ordered me to pay full amount with their offer of discount plus case fees.

I am Muslim, and believe in AL MIGHTY ALLAH and plea to Him for Justice.

It happened with me but I refuse to buy it and they left it seems that you agreed when you sign and leave the machine in your house .there is no unconscious signature. So enjoy your machine and forgot about this issue. Regards

How shocking???? Such a thing can happen in a Muslim Country??????

    I cannot imagine this.

I do have personal knowledge of how such things have happened in US, UK, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. But in an Islamic country????

    Very sad! Indeed.

what you think about Islamic countries ?? free of crimes !!!

you are living in the world of stupids. Crimes are everywhere, in each and every country in every continents. there is NO “police less” country in the word.

If you are an expatriate, you cannot walk alone at night in isolated areas in Saudi Arabian cities (number one Islamic country). You might be at a gun point / knife / sword.. you will lose everything, wallet, mobile, ID cards etc.

Not only in Saudia, but in India, Pakistan, USA, Australia,Britain no exception. comparatively UAE is better

      Wake up my friend..

Exactly the same happened to me here in my country Bahrain where I live in a village. The sales man came to my house and started to demonstrate it inexggarated way. He tried his best and his normal tricks to convince me of course with no success, simply it dosen’t worth more than BD 100 while their price was BD 1500!!! So instead I told him I could by with BD 1500 thirty vacuum cleaners !!! And asked him to repack his cheated machine away.

I think it is totally your own responsibility and fault , never ever sign on something without checking it. I born in UAE and live in it until 33 years old. I am in Germany and we face the same things here even worse. Be aware and donot sign again..

There is nothing like “unconscious signing”,you were attracted by the gambling aspect, whoever is looking for chance is looking for ruin, whatever is too good to be true, always run away from it

Opportunists are there in every country and from all creeds and at all eras of time.
Being tricked or exploited is not abnormal and we learn from our experiences, good or bad. The main thing is that we should not have a sense of guilt following such situations.

Being a muslim we should avoid to purchase things on installments.

When you sign on the documents it means you know what you are going to do.

Lesser the wants there will be lesser worries.

    So

Always faith in Allah. and offer prayers regularly.

I have been in this condition with my relatives in Dubai. It was in 1997- and this old story about supersonic vaccum. But as my uncle was going to sign I refused and oerder the guy – the saleman -to stop. They will try everthing to let you sign. One treck that you will win BD500 or UAD 5000- after signing and other lies.
They is going also here in Bahrain and I am always very crtical about this- as the machine is not worth somthing around BD1500 -3000 . Please BE AWARE OF THIS BUSINESS????

Why did you take the card?
How did you let them into your home?
Why did you let them take your signature?
    Lots of questions!
